Informational RNA transfers information on the primary structure of the protein from the nucleus to the cytoplasm, thus determining the synthesis of various proteins. Consists of 300-30000 nucleotides.
Transport RNA transfers activated amino acids to ribosomes during protein biosynthesis; it consists of 76-85 nucleotides.
Ribosomal RNA determines the structure of ribosomes, consists of 3000-5000 nucleotides.
