During titrimetric analysis, a solution with a precisely known concentration (titrant) is gradually added to the test solution, to which the indicator is added, which reacts with the analyte. Titration ends at the end of the reaction, which is recorded by the color change of the indicator. The amount of analyte is calculated from the results of measuring the volume of the titrant consumed for titration.
