What is the help for patients with: a) botulism; b) foodborne diseases?

| Assisting patients with botulism is that they need to quickly rinse their stomach with a warm 5% solution of drinking soda (1 teaspoon per glass of water). In addition, the introduction of serum and toxoid is mandatory.
With foodborne illness infections, helping the patient consists in repeatedly washing his stomach with warm boiled water. Then he should be given activated charcoal and a weak (2-4%) solution of bicarbonate of soda.
