What is the length of the earth’s equator?

Since the Earth is not strictly a sphere in shape, but is a geoid, there is a conditional definition of the equator as a circle whose radius is equal to the standardized radius of the Earth. Existing standards consider the length of the equator to be 40 075 km, or more precisely, 40 075 696 m, with an error of about two meters.
