A nuclear reactor is a device in which thermal energy is released as a result of a controlled chain reaction of nuclear fission. It was first carried out in 1942 in the USA under the leadership of Enrico Fermi. Steam generator (1 circuit) – a device for converting thermal energy into steam. Turbine is a device for converting steam energy into rotational energy. The generator is a device for converting mechanical rotational energy into electrical energy.
The condenser is a steam cooling device.
