What is the relationship between the structure of the nephron and the function it performs.

Nephron is a structural and functional unit of the kidney. The nephron consists of a renal corpuscle, which is formed by a capsule with a glomerulus of capillaries located in it, and a tubule, which flows into the collecting tube. In the capsules of the nephron, blood plasma is filtered. The liquid filtered through the cavity of the capsules forms the primary urine. In the tubules of the nephrons there is a process of reverse absorption of water, glucose, amino acids and other substances. Secondary urine is formed.
