What is the set of chromosomes in gametes?

Gametes are formed as a result of meiosis. Each gamete has a haploid (single) set of genetic material in the form of chromatids.
In male organisms, one diploid cell forms 4 gametes; in female organisms, one diploid cell forms 1 gamete.
