| The population consists of individuals that differ among themselves by sex (male and female) and age (rudiments, newborns, young, adults and old). On a certain territory, all the diversity of such individuals in the population forms groupings of a special composition and with special functions. Taken together, they all represent a single whole, since they are interconnected by a complex system of interactions and interdependencies.
