What nucleic acids do you know? What functions do they perform in the cell?

There are two types of nucleic acids – deoxyribonucleic (abbreviated DNA) and ribonucleic (abbreviated RNA).
Nucleic acids are the custodians of hereditary information, transfer hereditary information from the nucleus to the ribosome, and serve as a matrix for the assembly of the polypeptide chain.

Remember: The process of learning a person lasts a lifetime. The value of the same knowledge for different people may be different, it is determined by their individual characteristics and needs. Therefore, knowledge is always needed at any age and position.
