| What processes necessary for a person’s life cannot be carried out by his body and why? What functions are necessary for human life, he is forced to shift “on the shoulders” of other living organisms? What sciences give us the necessary knowledge about this?
The human body does not create vitamins, therefore it receives these substances from plants (A, B, C, D) and animals (D, B). Still the human body cannot create food products for its vital activity – it takes all this from plants and animals because a person is a consumer, according to the way of nutrition, he is a heterotroph. The sciences that give knowledge about this are hygiene, botany, zoology, physiology, anatomy.
