What processes occur in the human body from the moment oxygen enters the lungs during breathing to the use of oxygen in the cells of tissues and organs?
1) oxygen from the alveolar air through diffusion enters the blood of capillaries;
2) the combination of oxygen with hemoglobin; blood transport and entry into organs, tissues and cells;
3) the participation of oxygen in the biological oxidation of organic substances in mitochondria, resulting in the formation of energy-rich ATP molecules, carbon dioxide and water.
