What results did Rutherford obtain in experiments on scattering of alpha particles?

According to Rutherford’s experience, a positive charge occupies a small area of space, in which almost all the mass of an atom is concentrated. Rutherford called it the nucleus of the atom. I came to the conclusion that the core has a diameter of the order of 10 ^ 14-10 ^ 15 m.
