What right did Emperor Sigismund have to the Czech throne? Why did none of the Czechs want to see him as their king?

Sigismund – the brother of the Czech king Wenceslas IV – inherited the crown of Hungary from his father (Emperor Charles IV). If he also received the Czech crown, in the Czech Republic, German dominance would be supplemented by privileges for the Hungarians.
