| 1) with arterial bleeding, a rubber tourniquet is applied above the wound, since the arteries carry blood from the heart;
2) it is necessary to put a note under the tourniquet indicating the time of its application; to avoid necrosis (necrosis) of soft tissues or frostbite, the tourniquet can be kept for no more than 2 hours in summer, and no more than 1 hour in winter.
