The philosophy of the Enlightenment permeated all spheres of society. The ideas of the enlighteners were of a political nature. The enlighteners, criticizing the existing order, opposed them with models of an ideal society, the “kingdom of Reason.” They saw the cause of society’s troubles in ignorance; in order to overcome it, as many educated citizens as possible are needed.
Remember: The process of learning a person lasts a lifetime. The value of the same knowledge for different people may be different, it is determined by their individual characteristics and needs. Therefore, knowledge is always needed at any age and position.
