What tissue is predominant in the composition of the bones of the skeleton? What other tissues can be part of the bones, what are their functions?
The main tissue is bone, which performs a supporting function. The composition of the bones should include: nerve tissue, blood vessels for metabolic processes and cell renewal and various types of connective tissue that cover the outside of the bone, especially at the junction of the bones.
