What variable objects have an infinite brightness amplitude?

An infinite magnitude scale is observed for optical pulsars. During the minimum brightness, the pulsar (neutron star) is not visible from Earth at all. The logarithm of the ratio of the illumination at the maximum radiation to zero radiation is equal to infinity.
