When and where does mitosis end with egg maturation?

The first phase of gametogenesis is called the breeding phase. During this phase, primary germ cells multiply by mitosis, preserving the diploid set of chromosomes in the nuclei. Thus, the number of future gametes increases, immature germ cells (progenitor cells) are formed. It ends in the growth phase.
