When and why did Egypt fall under the rule of Persia?

In the 6th century BC, Egypt was conquered by Persia.
After the reign of Ramses II, the ancient Egyptian state gradually lost its former power. The conquerors ravaged the country and weakened the power of the pharaohs. Therefore, Egypt fell under the rule of Persia.
