When is the indirect titration method (substituent titration) used?

In the direct titration method, the mass of the analyte (mg) is calculated as the product of the molar concentration of the equivalent of the working solution, its volume (ml) used for titration, the molar mass of the analyte equivalent and the aliquot factor.
