Where can lichens be found?

Lichens are common all over the globe: from the polar latitudes to the hot desert sands. They grow in places where higher plants cannot live. Lichens’ survival factors include their ability to withstand prolonged drying and photosynthesis under very low light.
Remember: The process of learning a person lasts a lifetime. The value of the same knowledge for different people may be different, it is determined by their individual characteristics and needs. Therefore, knowledge is always needed at any age and position.
