| In the sky of the visible hemisphere of the Moon, the Earth constantly hangs in a certain place relative to the horizon, while making a curvilinear movement, which is ellipses smoothly passing into each other. The reason for this phenomenon is the librations of the moon in latitude and longitude. Libration in latitude is caused by the inclination of the Moon’s axis of rotation to the plane of its orbit. Libration in longitude arises as a result of the uneven movement of the moon in its orbit.
