A person often gets hybrids by crossing different species. In fish farms, for example, bester is bred – a hybrid of beluga and sterlet. In many countries, they use hardy mule – a hybrid of a horse (mare) and a donkey (male) – for agricultural work, and in China – a horn – a hybrid of a donkey with a stallion. In interspecific hybrids, isolation mechanisms are triggered. Usually they are associated with the fact that meiosis is impossible in the body of hybrids, as a result of which germ cells are not formed. For example, as a result of this, a mule is sterile – a hybrid of a horse and a donkey.
