Why are jet engines used for space flights?

In space, you can only use a jet engine, because there is only vacuum and helium, and their density is too low to create thrust for other engines, and a jet engine creates thrust for itself.
In outer space, it is impossible to use any other engines besides jet ones: there is no support (solid, liquid or gaseous), pushing off from which the spacecraft could get acceleration.
Remember: The process of learning a person lasts a lifetime. The value of the same knowledge for different people may be different, it is determined by their individual characteristics and needs. Therefore, knowledge is always needed at any age and position.
