Why are there no eclipses every month?

Since the plane of the lunar orbit is inclined to the plane of the earth’s orbit, then, for example, in a new moon the moon does not exist on the line connecting the centers of the sun and the earth, and therefore the lunar shadow will pass by the earth and there will be no solar eclipse. For a similar reason, the moon does not pass through the cone of the earth’s shadow on every full moon.
