1) In wet seeds with the participation of water, metabolic processes begin, respiration is strengthened, energy is released; fire may occur.
2) Seeds from moisture swell (absorbing moisture), and some of them germinate (live seeds). Then they die from a lack of moisture and they are not suitable for sowing.
