| Why, despite a person’s inclination to creativity, in traditional and industrial societies only a minority of the population could professionally engage in creativity (creation of new forms of knowledge, social structure, works of art)?
Because a person’s creativity is limited by his direct responsibilities, his work, narrow specialization. Only free people can allow themselves to create, create, express themselves. The average person relies on work in order to feed his family. He buries his talent, does not develop it because of everyday worries, everyday life.
