Why did comedy appear in Athens?

because in Athens, citizens could express their opinions and suggestions. If they didn’t like something, they brought this issue up at the National Assembly. With the advent of theaters, the most pressing issues of society and criticism of various situations began to appear in the form of comedies.
Remember: The process of learning a person lasts a lifetime. The value of the same knowledge for different people may be different, it is determined by their individual characteristics and needs. Therefore, knowledge is always needed at any age and position.
