Why did Luther get the support of the German princes?

Luther urged the princes to take the church under their authority and restore order in the country. Luther’s teachings were associated with the collapse of traditional society and the gradual transformation of man into individuality. Such a person did not need intermediaries to communicate with God. Luther believed that man is saved only by faith; faith is acquired only through the grace of God and does not depend on any merits of a person; only Scripture is the authority in matters of faith.

Remember: The process of learning a person lasts a lifetime. The value of the same knowledge for different people may be different, it is determined by their individual characteristics and needs. Therefore, knowledge is always needed at any age and position.
