Why didn’t the French kings organize a crusade against the British during the Hundred Years War with the help of the “Avignon” popes?

The weaker France became in the Hundred Years War, the more independent the “Avignonschie” popes felt. A complete English victory over France would have made England too strong, so the popes did not help any of the participants in the war.
