At high temperatures, the body fights infection, its main forces are directed at this, and the sensitivity of the receptors in the nose and mouth is disturbed, therefore the smell and taste of your favorite food dulls and the appetite disappears. In addition, in this condition, the mucous membranes of the mouth and nose are dry, which also violates the definition of taste and smell.
