| The increasing human impact on the environment, especially in recent decades, has led to the need to regulate this impact. The standards (indicators) of maximum permissible environmental impacts have been developed: norms of water and air quality, norms of chemical pollution of soils. These standards are necessary in order to ensure environmental safety of the population, to preserve the genetic fund to ensure the rational use and reproduction of the environment, as well as for the sustainable development of production and economic activities.
