Why does a person become infected with bovine tapeworm when eating uncooked meat?

Bovine tapeworm larvae are formed from eggs in the body of a cow and are found in raw meat; when frying (heat treatment) of meat, the larvae die, and with uncooked meat they can enter the human body.
