Like any biological system, a population has its own characteristics (group characteristics). But since it consists of individuals, it is inherent in the characteristics of individuals (biological signs). Biological characteristics characterize the life cycle of a population. Population properties: abundance – the total number of individuals in the range with uniform environmental conditions, density – the number of individuals per unit area, fertility – the number of individuals that appeared in the population per unit time due to the multiplication of individuals, mortality – the number of individuals that died per unit time .
