Why does the quality of the bitmap decrease and increase when it is enlarged?

When you reduce the bitmap, several adjacent dots are converted into one, and therefore the sharpness of small image details is lost.
When you enlarge the bitmap, dots are added, as a result, several adjacent dots take the same color and a stepped effect appears.
Remember: The process of learning a person lasts a lifetime. The value of the same knowledge for different people may be different, it is determined by their individual characteristics and needs. Therefore, knowledge is always needed at any age and position.
