Why in 1688 did Holland agree to an alliance with England, with which it had previously fought?

A short-term alliance between England and Holland in 1688 was possible, since the spheres of maritime dominion of these powers had already been divided by that time.For the British, this alliance was then desirable, since it gave them the rightful King William III of Orange instead of the overthrown James II. Bill III (great-grandson of Willem I – the founder of the Dutch Republic) was the grandson of Charles I of England.
