Why, in some cases, when individuals with dominant and recessive traits are crossed in the offspring, intermediate inheritance of traits is observed?

1) With incomplete dominance in the heterozygous state, an intermediate phenotype appears.
2) The dominant gene does not completely suppress the recessive, recessive – partially manifested.
