Any conductor has its own resistance, and therefore heat losses inevitably arise in the transmission line for heating the conductor. The amount of heating is proportional to the square of the current in the circuit, therefore, by increasing the voltage to hundreds of kilovolts, we, according to Ohm’s law, lower the current, and therefore reduce heat losses.
Remember: The process of learning a person lasts a lifetime. The value of the same knowledge for different people may be different, it is determined by their individual characteristics and needs. Therefore, knowledge is always needed at any age and position.
