Why is political pluralism integral to the political culture of democracy? What is the significance of the listed features of political culture for the development of democracy?
The liberal – democratic model of political culture is characterized by pluralism. Moreover, political pluralism corresponds to religious and ideological pluralism. Religion and ideology are separated from the state. Therefore, parliamentary democracy does not accept either state religion or state ideology. The idea of political representation is fundamental. No person has the right to rule over another person without the consent of the latter.
Remember: The process of learning a person lasts a lifetime. The value of the same knowledge for different people may be different, it is determined by their individual characteristics and needs. Therefore, knowledge is always needed at any age and position.
