Why should a child’s diet include food of animal origin?

1) Animal food contains protein. Proteins are the building blocks of the body and are composed of amino acids. 2) Plant proteins, unlike animals, do not contain all the amino acids necessary for the formation of specific human proteins. 3) Lack of adequate protein nutrition can greatly affect the growth, physical and mental development of the child.
