History is a science that studies the past and present of humanity.
Why study history?
– History teaches you to correctly, competently reason and understand everything that is happening in the world;
– A person who knows history, loves the Motherland and treats peoples with respect;
– History opens up the wonderful world of art, teaches you to understand the beauty of old vases, paintings and sculptures;
– History does not stand aside from life. She teaches people how to achieve justice. By studying the past, people learn to understand the present and improve the future;
– History shows what mistakes were made in the past, and teaches us not to repeat them in the future.

Many large and small events have taken place and are happening in the world. It is, of course, impossible to know everything. Therefore, events, first of all, need to be arranged according to the degree of importance. This is where the work of the historian begins, who knows how to consider specific events as links in a certain chain stretching from the past to the present.

Remember: The process of learning a person lasts a lifetime. The value of the same knowledge for different people may be different, it is determined by their individual characteristics and needs. Therefore, knowledge is always needed at any age and position.
