Why was the Spanish Republic defeated?

The Spanish Republic was defeated due to the collapse of the Republican front into two camps:
1) The communists, headed by Jose Diaz, are right-wing socialists and liberals who insisted that in order to unite the people, it was necessary to abandon revolutionary transformations, take away enterprises from collectives and transfer them to the state.
2) The left wing of the PSWP + anarchists led by Largo Caballero will not like the workers. Plus, they opposed the USSR’s interference in the internal affairs of Spain, strongly
