Reducing the area of natural communities is equivalent to reducing the energy of producers, which is available to consumers, which inevitably entails a reduction in the number of their populations. First of all, large vertebrates, primarily large predatory and herbivorous mammals, fall into the category of endangered animals. Since areas of natural communities are needed that are capable of creating the biomass necessary to maintain viable populations. Communities are destroyed, the food resources of herbivorous mammals are reduced, therefore their number decreases, which leads to a lack of food in large predators, and this in turn will lead to a decrease in large predatory animals.
