How are yeast different from other mushrooms? How do people use them?

There is a kind of mushroom like yeast. The main difference between them and other fungi is that yeast fungi are not able to form mycelium, and their reproduction occurs by budding. Yeast possesses such property as the ability to decompose sugar, that is, they cause the fermentation process. Due to this property, people use yeast in cooking (when making dough), brewing, preparing drugs, and manufacturing food additives.
Yeast cannot form mycelium, but they multiply by soiling. They also dissolve sucrose, thereby starting the process of fermentation. Because of this, yeast is used in the preparation and manufacture of medicines.
