In what experience did Faraday discover the phenomenon of electromagnetic induction?

| Farad used two coils of copper wire isolated from each other, wound on a common iron core. The ends of the first coil were connected with a wire, near which there was a magnetic arrow. The wire was located above the arrow parallel to it. When the ends of the second coil were connected to a constant current source, the magnetic needle near the wire connected to the first coil deflected and then returned to its original position. This showed that in the first coil an electric current flowed for a short time, called Far Alei induction.
