In our case, the ball is a closed vessel; when dousing it with cold water, the temperature inside the ball decreases, which means that the gas pressure also decreases, so it will deflate. And if we pour hot water on our ball (70), we will see that it began to increase in volume, this was due to an increase in gas temperature, which led to an increase in pressure.
