| Is it possible to transfer an ideal gas, which is in a state of thermal equilibrium at pressure p1 and temperature T1, to an equilibrium state, at which its pressure will be equal to p2 and its volume is equal to V2? How to do it? Can you suggest different ways to transfer this gas from the initial state to the final state?
It is possible, for example, by isothermal compression or expansion.
