Is the law of universal gravitation fulfilled for two cosmic bodies?

The law of universal gravitation is formulated for two material points. Cosmic bodies in most cases are located at very large distances from each other, and therefore they can be considered as material points. The law of universal gravitation is also applicable to spherical bodies – planets, stars, even if they are at a close distance from each other, subject to a spherically symmetric distribution of matter in them.
Remember: The process of learning a person lasts a lifetime. The value of the same knowledge for different people may be different, it is determined by their individual characteristics and needs. Therefore, knowledge is always needed at any age and position.
