| On the coast of the Baltic Sea, on the Kuriles and in the deserts of the Caspian region, there are sandy landforms of the same origin. What are these landforms and how did they form?
Sandy landforms are the work of the wind. The sandy deposits were brought in from other areas or blown in place. Where there was sediment, dunes or dunes accumulated. The windward slope is gentle, and the leeward slope is of considerable steepness.
