| The moon moves around the earth in a circular orbit. Are the following from zero at half the orbit: a) momentum increment; b) the work of the force of gravity?
The impulse increment at half the orbit is equal to 2mv, where v is the orbital velocity of the Moon; m is its mass. The work of the force of gravity is zero.
